Ultrasound Visual Biofeedback Training for Speech Language Pathology Students: A Single Case Design

This study examined the effectiveness of an ultrasound visual biofeedback (UVB) training on speech-language pathology (SLP) students’ assessment sonographic tongue configuration. presence a functional relation between within Participatory Adult Teaching Strategy framework and Method: employed multiple baseline, single-case design across participants behaviors for data collection analysis. Four graduate three undergraduate level SLP students participated. Results: Percentage goal obtained indicated that was effective teaching in shape remediation speech sound errors. Differences were found accuracy section Conclusions: The establishes preliminary UVB students. Although results demonstrate effectiveness, special considerations should be applied when implementation order to accommodate knowledge clinical experience differences
